United States star Ricardo Pepi linked with Feyenoord, PSV and Premier League clubs
United States international Ricardo Pepi is attracting attention from Eredivisie and Premier League clubs, according to reports.
American starlet Ricardo Pepi is attracting the attention of clubs all over Europe this summer after 12 Eredivisie goals at the age of 20.
Pepi made his MLS debut at 16 and spent three seasons with FC Dallas, where he made 57 appearances.
In 2021, the 18-year-old started to find the net regularly, scoring 13 goals in 31 matches for his hometown club.
The Dallas Academy product moved to Augsburg for a fee believed to be around $20 million in 2021, making him the most expensive MLS player to join a European club.
His loan at FC Groningen was a resounding success with the 6ft 1 striker scoring 12 goals and providing three assists.
According to reports, Feyenoord have offered an initial £10.5 million with a healthy sell-on clause included in the agreement.
That offer is expected to be seen as low, which could leave the door open for PSV Eindhoven or one of several Premier League clubs rumoured to be interested.
Pepi scored against Mexico in the Nations League semi-finals but has been rested for the upcoming Gold Cup.
