Sevilla target midfielder Djibril Sow from Eintracht Frankfurt

Djibril Sow of Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Djibril Sow appears to be on his way to Sevilla.

Eintracht Frankfurt's Djibril Sow has emerged as a key target for Sevilla to bolster their central midfield for the 2023/24 season.
With Papa Gueye returning to Marseille and Fernando Reges and Ivan Rakitic nearing the latter stages of their careers, a new signing was crucial for Los Nervionenses.
Fortunately, they are on the verge of completing a deal for the 26-year-old midfielder Sow.
Sevilla and Eintracht Frankfurt have reportedly agreed on a transfer fee of up to €14m for Sow.
The Swiss international, whose contract at Frankfurt had less than a year remaining, has already reached a personal agreement with Sevilla.
Now, the final steps involve passing medical tests before officially signing his contract.
Sevilla are eager to have the deal concluded before the commencement of the new LaLiga season to ensure that Djibril Sow is available for their match against Valencia on August 11th, which is just 10 days away.
The addition of Sow is expected to provide a significant boost to Sevilla's midfield and enhance their prospects for the upcoming season.
