Report: West Ham make move for AS Roma star Tammy Abraham
West Ham United have reportedly tabled a 30-million-euro offer for AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham.
Abraham, who transferred to Roma from Chelsea in the summer of 2021 for approximately 40 million euros, has had a standout debut season in Italy, netting 27 goals and providing five assists.
However, the 2023/24 season has been challenging for him due to injury.
The Hammers' interest in Abraham comes as they look to bolster their squad, which recently added Matias Soule and Artem Dovbyk.
Despite West Ham's efforts to persuade the English striker to join their ranks, Abraham's current club is hesitant to agree to the financial terms, notably unwilling to meet his 4.5 million euros net per season salary demand.
Adding to the complexity of the transfer saga is Abraham's preference for AC Milan, primarily due to the allure of Champions League football.
Milan, along with West Ham, have shown considerable interest in the player, but it remains to be seen which direction Abraham will take as the transfer window progresses.
