Report: Chelsea's Christian Pulisic is keen to join AC Milan

Christian Pulisic of Chelsea 28 May 2021

Christian Pulisic wants a move to Milan if they can agree terms with Chelsea.

Christian Pulisic has reportedly reached a preliminary agreement for a long-term deal to join AC Milan from Chelsea.
The clubs are yet to reach an agreement over the transfer fee.
Pulisic, 24, is reportedly willing to accept a significant reduction in salary to facilitate the move, with only minor details left to be resolved before finalising personal terms.
Negotiations regarding the transfer fee are ongoing, with Chelsea seeking €25million, while Milan are considering a range of €15m-€18m.
Chelsea believe Milan can afford a higher fee, pointing to the expected transfer of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United.
However, Milan intend to use the funds from that deal to acquire three to four players, leading to impatience on their side and the possibility of walking away from the Pulisic deal.
Despite the uncertainty, Pulisic is adamant about joining Milan, expressing his desire to make the move.
Signed for €64m from Borussia Dortmund in 2019, Pulisic has one year left on his contract with Chelsea.
The club are seeking to downsize the squad and reduce the wage bill after significant spending since its acquisition by a consortium last year.
