PSG reportedly ready to move for Man Utd star Marcus Rashford
Paris Saint-Germain have expressed interest in acquiring Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who might depart.
Rashford, 26, had a stellar 2022/23 season but struggled to maintain his form last season, netting only eight goals across all competitions.
Despite his recent dip in performance, PSG believe Rashford could be an ideal fit for their squad, especially with manager Luis Enrique's preference for wingers over strikers.
Enrique is confident in his central options, Goncalo Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani, and sees Rashford as a valuable addition to the flanks.
PSG's interest in Rashford has also been fuelled by their failed pursuit of Napoli's Victor Osimhen. With hopes of signing the Nigerian star dashed, the focus has shifted to the English forward.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are reportedly open to the idea of selling Rashford. The club's new co-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is considering the sale as a means to generate funds for new signings.
Although United are not desperate to offload Rashford, they are willing to entertain substantial offers for the player.
Rashford, currently enjoying a break, missed out on a spot in Gareth Southgate's England squad for the Euros. He hopes to resolve his future before the commencement of pre-season training.
