Liverpool’s treble hunt continues this Wednesday night when Arne Slot and his men travel to Pairs for a heavyweight Champions League clash (2000 GMT).

The Reds are flying in the Premier League, they’re in the EFL Cup final and are now looking to make similar progress in the Champions League.

After storming through the league-phase of the competition, Liverpool are now setting their sights on the knockout phase – starting with a very tasty PSG encounter.

The Parisians are in scintillating form, going 22 games unbeaten and winning 19 of those fixtures. Luis Enrique’s men are on a 10-match winning streak and last weekend they demolished strong Ligue 1 side Lille 4-1.

With both Liverpool and PSG in flying form, we could be in for an absolute thriller at Parc des Princes. Here, we take a closer look at the fixture and pick out some of the best bets along the way.

Good luck and please gamble responsibly.

    Both teams to score

It’s been a long time since anyone has stopped PSG from getting on the scoresheet. Twenty games to be precise.

The Parisians have been in frightening goal scoring form in recent weeks – especially in front of their own fans.

Liverpool are also flying when it comes to goals. The only team to bank a clean sheet against them in recent months are, incredibly, Plymouth Argyle who dumped the Reds out of the FA Cup. Then again, it wasn’t exactly Liverpool’s starting XI.

    Over 2.5 goals

Sticking with goals, the over 2.5 goals market is certainly worth consideration.

PSG have seen a total of 24 goals scored and conceded across their last four games alone.

Liverpool’s numbers aren’t quite on the same level, but the fact they’ve scored two goals in each of their last five games is a promising sign.

    Mo Salah to score anytime

We still don’t quite know what the future hold for Mo Salah at the end of this season. However, the Egyptian is clearly not to fussed as his focus remains on the ongoing campaign.

Salah is on track for his best ever season after scoring 30 goals in 39 games. With three months of the season still to go, the forward could certainly shatter records.

One record which he will be looking to extend is his number of goals in the knockout stage of the Champions League.

Salah has bagged 20 such goals in the competition, making him the best African player in that statistic. Samuel Eto’o and Didier Drogba are both behind the Liverpool man with 19 goals each.

    Alisson Becker +3 total saves

We are expecting a lively first leg affair and considering this one is in Paris, PSG will be looking to make a dent in the scoreline.

With that in mind, we’re backing Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker to keep busy and make at least 3+ saves.
