Philippe Coutinho leaves Aston Villa to join Brazilian club Vasco de Gama on loan
Philippe Coutinho has joined Brazilian side Vasco de Gama on a season-long loan from Aston Villa.
The 32-year-old spent last season playing for Al-Duhail in Qatar having fallen out of favour at Villa Park, making just two substitute appearances last term before being loaned out.
He has two years remaining on the deal he signed when joining from Barcelona in 2022 for £17million, a fraction of the record £142m the La Liga side paid in order to sign him from Liverpool four years earlier.
He has scored six goals in 43 games for Villa.
Bournemouth have signed forward Daniel Jebbison from Sheffield United on a four-year deal.
The 20-year-old made a single Premier League appearance for the Blades last season having previously spent time on loan at Burton and non-league Chorley.
He moves to the Vitality Stadium following the expiration of his contract at Bramall Lane.
Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said: "We're very pleased to have Daniel sign a long-term deal with us.
"He has many promising attributes, and has already provided some memorable moments in his young career so far.
"We look forward to overseeing Daniel continue his development, in an environment which will provide every opportunity to help him fulfil that exciting potential."
Watford have brought midfielder Moussa Sissoko back to the club on a two-year contract.
The former France international joins on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract at Ligue 1 side Nantes.
Millwall also boosted their ranks after confirming a long-term deal with defender Japhet Tanganga.
The 25-year-old is already a familiar face at the Den, having spent the second half of the 2023-24 campaign on loan from Tottenham, making 18 appearances for the Lions and scoring twice.
Tanganga became a free agent after being released by Spurs last month and now joins Neil Harris' squad on a permanent basis — he will join up with his team-mates ahead of Millwall's pre-season friendly with Gillingham on Saturday.
He will be suspended for the first three matches of the new Championship campaign due to a red card picked up on the final day of last season at Swansea.
