Nico Schlotterbeck: Dortmund can still do 'a lot more' after fourth straight win
Borussia Dortmund centre-back Nico Schlotterbeck believes the Bundesliga club will continue to improve after beating Union Berlin 4-2.
The victory marked the BVB's fourth on the trot in the Bundesliga, where they occupy fourth position, level on points with Bayern Munich in third.
Schlotterbeck, who scored the second of Dortmund's four goals, told the club's official website: "I hit it - the fact that it went in like that was very good.
"We played a very good game in the second half. We changed positions very often, we were very flexible on the pitch, Marco and Julian were super in the spaces in between.
"We're on a decent path, but we can still do a lot more."
Striker Niclas Fullkrug, who opened the scoring for Dortmund in the seventh minute, also feels optimistic about the team's current form.
"When we get the ball into dangerous areas, then we pose a danger," said Niclas Fullkrug.
"The force and energy with which we approached the second half: We then played really super football."
Dortmund's next fixture is another home game against Werder Bremen on Friday, 20 October.
