Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani has attracted Manchester United's interest.
Manchester United are closely monitoring the performance of Eintracht Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani as they prepare for the upcoming transfer window.
Aside from Marcus Rashford, who had a commendable season with 30 goals across all competitions, Manchester United lacked consistent goal-scoring contributions from their other attackers.
Anthony Martial's injury concerns and Wout Weghorst's sub-par performance left a void that needs to be filled.
Securing a world-class striker is a top priority for United manager Ten Hag this summer. While Harry Kane is his primary target, United anticipate that Tottenham Hotspur will refuse to sell their star player.
As a result, United have compiled a shortlist of alternative options, which includes Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 24-year-old French international joined Frankfurt on a free transfer last summer after leaving Nantes in France.
Kolo Muani had an exceptional debut season in Germany, scoring 23 goals and providing 17 assists in all competitions.
In the Bundesliga alone, he netted 15 goals, placing him among the top scorers alongside Niclas Fullkrug from Werder Bremen and Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig.
Additionally, his 14 assists in the Bundesliga were unmatched, resulting in a total of 29 direct goal contributions. His creative abilities have caught the attention of Manchester United and other clubs.
"I'm really looking for the club that will give me the chance to be able to express myself, to earn game time and most importantly allow me to grow," said Kolo Muani.
Although he may not be seen as the primary striker United need, a move to Old Trafford would provide him with the opportunity to earn regular playing time and further develop as a player.
