Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson receives huge offer from Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq

Jordan Henderson could quadruple his wages at Saudi club Al-Ettifaq.

Jordan Henderson is contemplating a move to Al-Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro League, with the midfielder reportedly being offered quadruple his current salary.
Henderson's former Liverpool teammate and new Al-Ettifaq manager Steven Gerrard is playing a key role in convincing the 33-year-old to make the move. However, the Saudi club would need to pay a transfer fee for Henderson, who has a contract at Anfield until 2025.
Liverpool have yet to receive an official bid from Al-Ettifaq, but if Henderson indicates his willingness to move, the two clubs will immediately enter into talks.
It remains to be seen if Henderson will accept Al-Ettifaq's offer. He has been a key figure at Liverpool since joining the club from Sunderland in 2011, making 492 appearances and winning the Premier League and Champions League.
However, the move to Saudi Arabia would represent a significant financial windfall for Henderson, who is currently reportedly earning around £200,000 per week at Liverpool.
The offer from Al-Ettifaq would reportedly see him earn around £700,000 per week.
Henderson would also be able to experience a new culture and challenge himself in a different league. The Saudi Pro League is not as competitive as the Premier League, but it is still a highly regarded league and Henderson would be a marquee signing for Al-Ettifaq.
Ultimately, the decision of whether or not to move to Saudi Arabia will be up to Henderson. He will need to weigh up the financial implications, the sporting challenge, and his family's wishes before making a decision.
