Leroy Sane delighted with Bayern Munich's perfect Bundesliga start
German winger Leroy Sane reflected on both his personal performance and Bayern Munich's stellar start to the Bundesliga season, in an in-depth interview with Kicker.
Sane, who has netted three times in as many Bundesliga appearances, expressed his satisfaction, saying, "I feel really, really good. I already felt very good in pre-season. I feel the full trust of the coach and the club, the communication is very good, the current system suits me well.
"I'm enjoying the daily work. I hope things will continue in the same vein with the national team."
Despite Bayern's flawless three-game run, Sane emphasized that there's still room for improvement. He singled out Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig as their main contenders for the Bundesliga title this season.
"We've had a good start, but there are phases where there's room for improvement - we're aware of that. For me, RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen are our toughest rivals this season. Leverkusen had a remarkable summer and a good start to the season. They have signed very good players who will help the team. RB Leipzig have also been convincing," Sané noted.
Following the international break, Bayern's next Bundesliga challenge awaits on September 15 when they clash with Bayer Leverkusen at the Allianz Arena.
Football fans can anticipate an intense battle for supremacy as Sane and Bayern aim to maintain their impressive form amidst stiff competition.
