Leeds United transfer news: Whites interested in 41-goal Championship striker

49ers Enterprises and Leeds United’s new manager are already working on transfer targets behind the scenes at Elland Road.
Leeds United are interested in exploring a move for Swansea City striker Joel Piroe, according to reports.
The Dutch forward has scored 41 Championship goals in two seasons with the Swans and laid on eight assists.
The 23-year-old hitman is about to enter the final year of his contract and to this point, there are no signs that he plans to extend his stay.
Piroe looks destined to play in one of Europe's top leagues and if he isn't going to commit this summer, then Swansea may need to sell.
The Welsh club have built their success on developing, buying and selling emerging talent to keep its conveyor belt of silky footballers ticking along while remaining financially stable.
Leeds United have had a confirmed interest in Piroe in the past and recent reports suggest they are exploring the possibility of a bid.
Despite the apparent lack of movement at Elland Road, Planet Sport understands that new owners 49ers Enterprises have already chosen a new manager, believed to be Daniel Farke.
With the EFL close to ratifying the takeover deal, the club are hoping to put out a double announcement as soon as possible.
There's no suggestion of a bid or deal in place for the Swansea striker at this stage but he is believed to be on their shortlist alongside the likes of Amad Diallo.
