Former Man United winger set to join Luton Town as transfer fee and person terms are agreed - report
Birmingham City and Luton Town have reportedly agreed a transfer fee for former Manchester United man Tahith Chong.
Ex Manchester United man Tahith Chong is understood to be having a medical at newly promoted Premier League club, Luton Town.
Chong, who completed a permanent £1.5million move from Old Trafford to Birmingham City last summer, is expected to leave St Andrews despite having three more years remaining on his deal.
According to Sky Sports, Luton and Birmingham have agreed a £4million fee for the Dutch winger.
Chong is reportedly having his medical at Luton after agreeing personal terms with the Premier League outfit.
The 23-year-old was left out of Birmingham's pre-season training camp in Spain as his transfer appears close to completion.
Chong made 41 appearances last season for the Blues, scoring four goals along the way.
During his time at Manchester United, the player made just 16 senior appearances - with the bulk of those coming in the 2019/20 campaign.
Since then, the player was sent out on loan to Werder Bremen and Club Brugge before landing at St Andrews.
Luton are looking to bolster their squad ahead of their first ever season in the Premier league.
The Kenilworth Road outfit haven't played top tier football since the early 90s but secured their return to the elite following a thrilling play-off victory over Coventry City.
Luton's opening Premier League match will take place away at Brighton on August 12.
