Former Arsenal midfielder Sead Kolasinac hailed by Marseille head coach after sublime Ligue 1 goal

Sead Kolasinac in action for Marseille

Sead Kolasinac was one of four former Premier League stars to get on the scoresheet as Marseille thrashed Toulouse 6-1.

Les Olympiens put on a show in their first outing since the World Cup as they climbed to third in the Ligue 1 table.

Igor Tudor's side were relentless as Valentin Rongier and an own goal from Rasmus Nicolaisen gave the hosts a 2-0 half-time lead.
After the break, Kolasinac and former West Ham star Dimitri Payet doubled that advantage.
Branco van den Boomen converted a penalty for the visitors to avoid a complete whitewash. However, two further goals from former Leicester man Cengiz Under and Arsenal loanee Nuno Tavares completed the rout.

Tudor was pleased with the victory, telling the media in the post-match press conference (as quoted by L'Equipe): "The thing I remember is all the goals we scored.

"I'm happy for everyone who scored. One defender scored, another gave an assist. We pushed to the end and I liked all that too. With our way of playing, we spend a lot of energy and we have to be in good shape.
"This match will make us progress even more physically. Among the things to work on, there was a bit of a delay in offensive pressing."
The Marseille manager was also full of praise for Kolasinac who bagged an impressive individual effort, adding: "After this goal, he has to play all the time.
"In fact, Nuno Tavares was supposed to start. But he had some vomiting and stomach pains, so we kept him on the bench and he came in afterwards.
"Sead is a great guy. He always applies himself to the maximum and deserves his success for his work and his behaviour. The front three played well. But the 10s have the opportunity to go ahead and score."
