FA Cup tips: Sheffield United vs Tottenham Hotspur 8/1 bet builder

Harry Kane

Tottenham head north to face Sheffield United in the FA Cup on Wednesday evening and we have a solid four-leg bet builder to get stuck into.

Date, KO time and TV coverage

FA Cup fifth round, Wednesday, March 1.

Live on BBC 1, kick-off 7.55pm.

Both teams to score, yes

Sheffield United's last 14 games in all competitions have seen both teams score in nine games. Included in that was the 3-1 fourth-round win in which non-League Wrexham managed to breach the Blades' backline.

BTTS to score has landed just twice in eight games for Spurs, but notably both of those were away from home. The likes of Arnaut Danjuma, Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane should be able to cause problems for the Championship defence.

Assistant head coach Cristian Stellini is set to make changes and Spurs will not be at full strength. Rodrigo Bentancur (knee), Yves Bissouma (ankle), Hugo Lloris (knee) and Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) are all missing and the likes of Pedro Porro, Davinson Sanchez, Japhet Tanganga and Ivan Perisic could all get starting roles.

Over 2.5 goals

Sheffield United have seen over 2.5 goals in their last four home matches vs Tottenham in all competitions. Four of their last five games have also seen over 2.5 goals.

Spurs have seen over 2.5 goals twice in their last six games, but both of those were away - in the defeat at Leicester and the 3-0 win at Preston in the previous round.

Over 8.5 corners

Sheffield United (5.73) have one of the highest corners counts in the Championship. Their average corners against (4.94) gives them a total of 10.67.

Spurs' corner count is similar at 5.72, while their against total is 4.56, giving them a total of 10.28.

Over 4.5 cards

Only Swansea have more cards than the Blades this season with the hosts collecting 76 yellows and two reds. That gives them an average of 2.36 per game.
They are likely to try and make their presence felt early on and could pick up bookings against the fleet footed Spurs forwards.
Spurs have collected 50 yellows and two reds for an average of 2.08 cards per game.
