Evan Ndicka not opposed to the idea of staying at Eintracht Frankfurt
Evan Ndicka may consider staying at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka is reportedly open to the possibility of remaining at the club despite his contract expiring.
The 23-year-old has conveyed his openness to staying to the sporting director, Markus Krösche.
Although there is an offer for Ndicka to extend his contract until 2026, Frankfurt faces a hurdle as Ndicka's agents are pushing for a transfer, potentially resulting in higher agent fees if he moves to another club.
Recently, Ndicka's agents were in Rome to explore the prospect of a transfer to the Italian capital.
Clubs such as Arsenal, Barcelona, and Juventus have expressed interest in acquiring Ndicka's services.
A decision regarding Ndicka's future is expected at the end of the season, as the focus currently lies on concluding the season and the DFB Pokal final against RB Leipzig.
In the event of Ndicka's departure, Frankfurt have already secured a backup option by signing William Pacho from Royal Antwerp, who will join the team in the summer.
However, if the Frenchman decides to stay, Frankfurt will continue their pursuit of another high-quality centre-back.
