Erik ten Hag: Man Utd will have Antony and Hojlund available against Galatasaray
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Rasmus Hojlund and Antony are in the squad to face Galatasaray in the Champions League.
While Hojlund missed the recent 3-0 victory over Everton at Goodison Park after a late fitness test setback, he participated in Tuesday morning's training session and is poised for a potential return to the starting line-up in Turkey.
Antony, who was also absent in the weekend clash due to a knock, has trained with the main group and is expected to travel with the squad.
In his pre-match press conference on Tuesday, Ten Hag affirmed, "they are in the squad," when addressing the availability of Hojlund and Antony.
Hojlund's absence against Everton led to the inclusion of academy prospect Joe Hugill in the matchday squad. However, Omari Forson, who travelled with the first team for the FC Copenhagen game, did not partake in Tuesday's group training.
Kobbie Mainoo, who earned praise for his full Premier League debut against Everton, is set to travel to Turkey and could retain his starting role in midfield.
Injury-wise, Lisandro Martinez (foot), Jonny Evans (thigh), Tyrell Malacia (knee), Casemiro (hamstring), Mason Mount (calf), and Christian Eriksen (knee) remain sidelined, posing selection challenges for Ten Hag.
