Barcelona's Jules Kounde unlikely to play in El Clasico against Real Madrid
Barcelona have been struggling with injuries of late and it looks like defender Jules Kounde may still be sidelined and miss the El Clasico against Real Madrid on Sunday.
The Catalan Giants are carrying a big injury list, namely - Memphis Depay, Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen, Franck Kessie, Hector Bellerin and French international Kounde.
The 23-year-old Kounde picked up a hamstring injury while playing for France, and it was initially feared that he had torn it, but according to reports the issue wasn't that serious but he will still miss the Champions League clash against Inter on Wednesday.
According to Mundo Deportivo, despite undergoing training recently it looks increasingly unlikely that he will be able to make Sunday's El Clasico at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
This now leaves Barcelona with the option of playing the Frenchman and hoping he remains fine, but in doing so if he were to re-damage or tweak the hamstring, he could be side-lined for a long time from La Liga and Champions League games, including the World Cup in Qatar for France.
