Arsenal set sights on Youri Tielemans while Nicolas Pepe and Bernd Leno face exit door

Arsenal are said to be considering a clearout as they look to finance further moves in the summer transfer market, including a potential deal over Leicester City's Youri Tielemans.

The Gunners have already enjoyed a busy window having brought in the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner and Marquinhos.

The next name on their radar is Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans, with the club confident of landing the player for £30million, according to The Sun.

Tielemans has made 158 appearances for the Foxes across all competitions, and has also chipped in with 24 goals.

The 25-year-old arrived at the King Power Stadium in January 2019 on loan from Monaco. The move became permanent ahead of the 2019/20 campaign, with the player featuring prominently in all competitions.

During his time in Leicester, Tielemans helped the team to FA Cup and Community Shield triumphs. What's more, he was voted as the club's Player of the Season for the 2020/21 campaign.

The Sun also report a possible clearout at the Emirates as Arsenal look to fund future transfers.

According to the paper, record signing Nicolas Pepe and goalkeeper Bernd Leno could be part of the clearout as the Gunners look to refill the coffers.

Pepe joined Arsenal from French outfit Lille for a club-record fee of £72million. Since then, the player has made 112 appearances and scored 27 goals across all competitions.
Last season, the Ivory Coast international featured in half as many games as in the campaign prior.
Leno, on the other hand, made just four Premier League appearances last season as Mikel Arteta put his trust in new signing Aaron Ramsdale.
