Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has his say on new arrivals, plus Oleksandr Zinchenko deal edges closer
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta believes his team have a lot of chemistry as pre-season preparations continue.
The Gunners have spent big this summer after securing the likes of Fabio Vieira, Marquinhos, Matt Turner and Gabriel Jesus.
After missing out on the top four last season, Arteta is determined to go one step further and bag Champions League qualification.
Speaking with Sky Sports about his new arrivals, the Spaniard said: "As I have said many times, this is a fantastic group of people.
"And they welcome everybody in the right way. It is a really easy group to handle.
"There are some really good characters and from what I've seen so far they already feel like they've been here for a long time.
"I think we have a really good balance and then there is a lot of chemistry between those very different age groups.
"We all have the same aim - we're here to win and enjoy what we do. They've been extremely helpful with the young lads. But the young lads also behave in a way that everybody wants to help them and do the best for them."
🗣 “They already feel like they’ve been here for a long time.”

Summer business does not appear to be over at the Emirates, as Arsenal have now set their sights on Oleksandr Zinchenko.
The Gunners are understood to have agreed a £30million fee with Manchester City for the defender, who has already worked with Arteta at the Etihad.
Since his arrival at Manchester, the Ukraine international has made 128 appearances for the club across all competitions.
