It may not have been pretty but Harry Kane and England got the job done against Denmark to send the Three Lions into the final of Euro 2020.
Tottenham's talisman Kane made it four goals for the tournament by converting the rebound after his spot-kick was saved by Kapser Schmeichel.
It put England 2-1 up in extra time, finally breaking the resolve of a determined Danish side, and guaranteeing a home presence in the final on July 11.
With four goals in the tournament, not only is Kane level with Gary Lineker for major tournament goals (10), he is now just one behind leader Cristiano Ronaldo in the chase for the 2020 Golden Boot.

Kane's first international goal at a major tournament came against Tunisia in England's opening game of the World Cup.
England, under Gareth Southgate, had started brightly as they looked to get ahead early doors - and they did so through a set piece in the 11th minute.

Kieran Trippier sent in a cross to the towering Harry Maguire who set up Kane to nod the ball into the net and give England three points.

Stones had put England ahead inside the first 10 minutes and Kane doubled England's advantage in the 22nd minute from the penalty spot. After Jesse Lingard had won the penalty, Kane stepped up from 12 yards out and thumped it into the top corner to score his third goal of the competition.

Already 4-0 up thanks to a double from Stones and Lingard, Kane had won another spot-kick after being wrestled to the ground during a set-piece. Kane fired it into the top corner once again.

Kane's fifth goal of the tournament is one of his most bizarre goals to date. With England already 5-0 up at half-time, Kane completed his hat-trick in the 61st minute.

England welcomed Germany to Wembley Stadium in a round-of-16 showdown in one of the standout clashes of the tournament.
Raheem Sterling had put the hosts ahead but Germany pressed for an equaliser and Thomas Muller should have done so with a glorious chance in the second-half.
Kane would seal progress into the quarter-finals by connecting with the head from a delightful ball from Aston Villa's Jack Grealish.
