Super League acca tips and best bets: Wigan to bounce back from defeat, wins for St Helens, Hull KR and Huddersfield

Super League action continues as Wigan Warriors look to get back to winning ways against Leigh Leopards and we've picked out a juicy acca to sink your teeth into.

Super League action continues as Wigan Warriors look to get back to winning ways against Leigh Leopards.

Wigan Warriors’ 15 game winning run ended last week after a 12-4 defeat against local rivals St Helens.

They kick-off this week’s action against Leigh whilst St Helens travel to France for a top of the table clash against Catalans Dragons.

Here, we take a look at each fixture in this week’s Super League acca.

Leigh Leopards vs Wigan Warriors (Thu, 2000 GMT)

Wigan were 4-2 up against the Saints with 14 minutes to go when Liam Byrne was sent off for a high challenge on Mark Percival.

A couple of late tries from St Helens denied Wigan the record of 16 straight Super League victories, held by St Helens, and gave them their first defeat of the season.

Their opponents this week, Leigh, suffered defeat once again this season losing to Salford 32-22.

Wigan should easily get back to winning ways when they take on Leigh this Thursday.

TIP: Wigan Warriors to win

Castleford Tigers vs Salford (Fri, 2000 GMT)

Castleford produced an impressive first-half display against their West Yorkshire rivals Leeds Rhinos.

However, they went on to lose once again and their opponents Salford recovered from their Challenge Cup defeat to beat Leigh last week.

Castleford are at home once again which could provide a tough challenge for Salford who tend to win games by a small margin, like their 26-22 win over the Tigers earlier on this season.

TIP: Winning margin 1-12 points

Hull KR vs London Broncos (Fri, 2000 GMT)

Hull KR came out on top in the Hull Derby for the second time this season last week as they beat Hull FC 34-10.

The Robins are on a three-game winning streak in all competitions, whilst London are winless in their last seven games.

London did make a great start last week against Huddersfield Giants taking an early lead after the away side’s slow start.

However, they went on to lose another game and it is hard to see a different outcome this week against Hull KR.

TIP: Hull KR to win

Leeds Rhinos vs Warrington Wolves (Fri, 2000 GMT)

Leeds Rhinos overcame their West Yorkshire rivals Castleford last week in tough conditions to get back to winning ways after successive defeats to St Helens.

After five wins on the bounce, Warrington suffered defeat for the second time this season against the Catalans Dragons.

Leeds and Warrington have both won four games each so far this season.

With both sides in similar form, you’d expect a close affair between the two sides.

TIP: Winning margin 1-12 points

Hull FC vs Huddersfield Giants (Sat, 1500 GMT)

Hull’s season keeps getting worse as they suffered another defeat on derby day to Hull KR in the league.

They have only won once in the league so far and their opponents this Saturday have already thumped them 50-6 in the Challenge Cup this season.

The Giants have fared better in the league and should dominate again this weekend as Hull show no signs of improving recently.

TIP: Huddersfield Giants to win

Catalans Dragons vs St Helens (Sat, 2005 GMT)

Catalans victory over Warrington last week saw them go second in the table just behind St Helens.

The top two go head-to-head in Perpignan with St Helens in high spirits after their shock victory over Wigan.

Both sides have only lost once, and it should be a thrilling match if it lives up to the hype.

However, off the back of a vital victory over their local rivals, we would expect St Helens to make it a fourth victory in a row.

TIP: St Helens to win
