Premier League Darts tips, prediction and best bets: Luke Humphries targets Dublin double on Night 3

Luke Humphries triumphed in Dublin during last year’s Premier League season and the former world champion will be looking for a repeat as PDC’s biggest stars head to the Irish capital.
Humphries, who won Night 1 in Belfast a couple of weeks ago, couldn’t back it up over in Glasgow after losing to Luke Littler in the final.
Cool Hand Luke will now be looking for some sort of retribution as he targets his third final in as many weeks.
Here, we take a closer look at Night 3 in Dublin and pick out some of the best bets along the way.
Good luck and please gamble responsibly.

Premier League Darts – Night 3 fixtures
Luke Humphries v Stephen Bunting
Gerwyn Price v Luke Littler
Rob Cross v Nathan Aspinall
Michael van Gerwen v Chris Dobey
World champion Littler remains favourite with the bookmakers to go all the way in Dublin. The youngster produced three figure averages throughout Night 2 as he battled past Rob Cross, Michael van Gerwen and Humphries to bag the £10,000 weekly winner bonus.
The Nuke kicks off Night 3 against Gerwyn Price who reached the Players Championship 3 quarter-final last Monday.
Price picked up his first Premier League match win of the new season last week when he beat Nathan Aspinall 6-4. The Welshman was eventually beaten by Humphries in the following game, but at least Price is off the mark.
Two men who are yet to get a win on the board are Nathan Aspinall and Stephen Bunting.
The Bullet is expected to stay winless in Dublin as he kicks off the event against high-flying Luke Humphries. Aspinall, meanwhile, is taking on Rob Cross – a man he has beaten in five straight meetings.
Trouble is, The Asp endured a woeful run at the recent Players Championship 3 and 4, bowing out in the first and second rounds. In fact, Aspinall has only won six matches since his quarter-final run at the World Championships.
With that in mind, we’re backing former Ally Pally king Cross to get the better of Aspinall at around the 4/6 mark.
Another tasty selection is for Chris Dobey to reach the final – currently priced at 8/1.
Hollywood reached the final on Night 1 and will fancy his chances of a repeat in Dublin considering he is on the other side of the bracket to Littler and Humphries.
Dobey kicks off the night against Michael van Gerwen who endured a shock first round defeat at Players Championship 3.
While the Dutchman crumbled, Dobey went all the way at the very event and claimed the tournament win.
Speaking of winning, our outright pick for Night 3 is Humphries. In all honesty, most nights at the Premier League this season will be toss ups between the two Lukes.
As things stand, Humphries offers more value for your buck with the bookmakers. With that in mind, we’re backing the former world champ to grab the headlines in Dublin.
Premier League Darts – Night 3 best bets
Luke Humphries to win Night 3 – 11/4
Chris Dobey to reach the final – 8/1
Rob Cross to beat Nathan Aspinall – 4/6
