Mosconi Cup: Day four order of play confirmed as Team USA look to deny Europe third straight title

Team Europe at the Mosconi Cup

Matchroom Pool have confirmed the order of play for the fourth and final day of action at the 2022 Mosconi Cup.

Team Europe edged 8-6 ahead on day three with Jayson Shaw picking up a comprehensive 5-2 win over Oscar Dominguez in Friday's final game.

The defending champions need just three more points to claim their third straight Mosconi Cup crown and 14th overall.
Team USA will be looking to halt that ambition in the opening match on Saturday which will be a 'Fans' Choice Doubles' contest.
Earl Strickland and Jayson Shaw were the players in the 'Fans' Choice Singles' match earlier in the tournament and both men could feature again due to their popularity.

The second match on the final day will see the two-time Mosconi Cup MVP Skyler Woodward take on this year's World Cup of Pool winner David Alcaide.

Should Europe pick up the opening two points, the third match of the final day could prove decisive. That encounter will see pool legend Shane Van Boening take on Scotsman Jayson Shaw.
If the USA stays in the game, we could see as many as three more singles matches.
Those include Tyler Styer vs Joshua Filler, Oscar Dominguez vs Francisco Sanchez Ruiz and Earl Strickland vs Albin Ouschan.
