2025 PDC World Darts Championship: Free bets, prediction, full draw, prize money and where to watch

Luke Humphries lifts the 2024 World Darts Championship

The biggest darting extravaganza on earth returns as we prepare for the 32nd edition of the PDC World Darts Championship.

Luke Humphries arrives at Alexandra Palace as the defending champion, but there are a number of worthy contenders hot on his heels – including last year’s finalist Luke Littler.

The teenage sensation heads into the tournament as favourite and that shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone.

Littler has dominated the year, winning the Grand Slam, Premier League, World Series of Darts Finals, two European Tour events, three Players Championship events and claiming over £1m in prize money.

Here, we take a closer look at the main contenders, the latest odds, format, prize money, the draw and where to watch the event.

Who will win the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship

Following a sensational year on the circuit, Luke Littler will be looking to cap it off with his maiden world championship title at Alexandra Palace.

The 17-year-old was on the verge of glory last year after falling in the final to the high-flying Luke Humphries.

One thing we know about Little is he has absolutely no fear on the oche. Considering he is still a teen, there is far less pressure on his shoulders as he enters this event.

In truth, both Lukes have been nothing short of superb throughout the year and they truly deserve to be number one and two favourites.

Picking between them is difficult, but if we had to go for one of them, it would be the more experienced Humphries.

The Leeds United fans has been lauded by a number of his rivals in the media as one of the greatest world champions of all time.

Cool Hand Luke reached seven major finals in 2025, winning four of them. Add to that his two European Tour titles and you can’t deny that Humphries has enjoyed a tremendous year.

Looking a tad further down the list, you can find Gary Anderson priced as the current third-favourite.

The Scot has returned to form in a big way and there will be a lot of eyeballs on him. Trouble is the two-time world champion does have a tricky draw to contend with. Anderson could meet Ross Smith and Michael van Gerwen before the quarter-final stage.

Speaking of Van Gerwen, the Dutchman is currently fourth-favourite. The 35-year-old has endured his worst year on the circuit since 2011, failing to win a single major title and reaching two finals. A measly number for a man of his high expectations.

With Littler and Humphries on the same side of the draw, Van Gerwen and Anderson will both fancy their chances of reaching the final.

But the man we’re siding with to reach the showpiece match is former world champion Michael Smith.
Bully Boy offers plenty of value at 10/1 and his side of the draw certainly looks winnable.
