Windsor best bet: Lawn Ranger gunning for success on favourite track

Our friends in the Tipstrr office have been studying their data to provide us with one of their most popular selections from the very last race of the Monday evening meeting at Windsor.
With the early favourite Mr Freedom backed down to a short price, his seven rivals all carry the potential to make some each-way profit, even if they fail to win, and that value is enhanced further by the extra place available with some bookmakers.
Arguably more suited to the conditions is Lawn Ranger, whose last 14 outings have included eight around the Windsor circuit, including his most recent win, albeit in heavy conditions, three races ago in April.

His last run was 28 days ago, when he was ridden too hard too early before being easily reeled in to finish fifth of nine, again in heavy conditions over the same 10-furlong trip.
He steps up to just shy of a mile and a half here, and with the returning jockey Robert Havlin looking to maintain his impressive record at Windsor (10 wins and 21 places from 88 rides) we can expect a more sympathetic and better-timed run to put Lawn Ranger right in the mix down the home straight.
