Two runner contest. WALK IN CLOVER (1) resumes after a four month break having finished a good fourth at Uttoxeter prior to the spell. Multiple winner over fences and that experience could be an advantage.

OUTLAW PETER (2) makes chasing debut. Brings four hurdle wins and been racing at the top level among handicap company. Contender.

14:35 (Newton Abbot) Astroman

ASTROMAN (5) returned after a three month break with a defeat in a novice handicap chase. Returns to hurdles which could prove positive and remains on a fair mark. Top chance.

HONEY I'M GOOD (4) was denied a treble when fourth at Bangor-on-Dee over fences. Winner of a handicap steeplechase at this track prior. Contender.

BEN LILLY (3) resumed from a year long spell managing a Worcester third. Rates an each way chance.

PRESENTING YEATS (1) carries top weight. Producing consistent performances and holds each way claims.

15:10 (Newton Abbot) Manimole

MANIMOLE (1) has been in excellent form with two wins and three seconds from the past five outings. Caught the eye scoring an easy success at Southwell in latest. Takes on a similar standard of rival.

PRESENTING NELLY (2) aims for back to back victories. Justified favouritism scoring by 7L at Worcester in latest. Open to further improvement.

CHANTILLY ROSE (3) made a pleasing debut when third at Southwell. Place contender second-up.

THEWEDDINGCANWAIT (5) received a break since a third at Worcester.

15:45 (Newton Abbot) Frankie Faulkner

FRANKIE FAULKNER (1) sets the form standard. Placed twice since a win including a good third in a similar event attempting a shorter journey. Top chance.

JANESLITTLEVOICE (3) finished runner-up the past three outings. Only beaten 0.5L among open handicap chase company over course and distance in latest. Contender.

FAITQUE DE L'ISLE (2) would need to improve if winning. Place looks possible. DONT BE ROBIN (4) rates the outsider of this quartet.

16:20 (Newton Abbot) Alvaniy

ALVANIY (1) aims for back to back victories following a 4.5L success in a Galway maiden hurdle. Racing well and is a notable runner for leading yard in Ireland.

WONDERFUL EAGLE (2) returned after a nine month absence with a neck success over 2 ¼m at this track. Contender with further improvement to come.

THIRTYFOUR THIRTY (6) has not missed the top two in three career starts. Makes hurdling debut. CHANKAYA (4) could sneak a placing if finding more.

16:55 (Newton Abbot) Good Impression

GOOD IMPRESSION (4) caught the eye scoring by 1.75L over course and distance. Seems to enjoy these conditions and must be respected.

STAR LEGEND (1) carries top weight with three placings from the past four outings. Only beaten 1L at Southwell when last seen. In good order.

IMPERIAL MEASURE (5) has not raced since a course and distance fourth among novice company in late May. Place contender.

SUFI (2) was a winner at the start of the campaign and is one for the placings if reverting to best form.
