13:10 (Market Rasen) Mary
Ian Williams’ Mary can return to form in the 100 Years Of Market Rasen Racecourse Mares’ Handicap Hurdle at the Lincolnshire track.
The five-year-old has some respectable placed form behind Dysart Enos and in a Listed Newbury event in the latter half of the season.
Her most recent run was a well-beaten effort back at Newbury, but if she can put that performance behind her she can mount a challenge in this.
14:10 (Market Rasen) Lagonda
Lagonda can take the Book Summer Plate Ladies Day Now Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase after posting an improved effort over fences when upped to just short of the three miles she faces here.
A dual winner in the pointing field, Lagonda struck for home early at Chepstow but could never quite build up a telling advantage, with Sporting Ace taking control ahead of the last and going on to win by three and a half lengths.
The handicapper left her unchanged on a mark of 114, which certainly does not look insurmountable for Venetia Williams’ charge.
15:10 (Market Rasen) Our Bill's Aunt
Bottom weight Our Bill's Aunt had wind surgery since finishing last of three at Southwell. Earlier efforts suggest she can be competitive from this mark.
Charles St was a three length course and distance winner in November.
Subsequent absence is a slight concern but rates a leading player from just 4.4lb higher.
Homme D'Un Soir produced a good effort on stable debut when third at Doncaster and looks well-handicapped on peak form.
Graded-winning chaser Sizing Pottsie ran below expectations at Wincanton, but can't be ruled out from this mark.
15:45 (Market Rasen) Cokytho
Cokytho was prominent for a long way on stable debut tackling 2m3f here last start. Slips a further 4.4lb in weights and has a strong chance.
Yellow Jacket showed good condition when second racing 1.1lb higher at Bangor recently.
Maintains decent claims with Brian Hughes on board for the first time.
Hokelami disappointed on chasing debut at this track in November. Application of a tongue tie might help.
