Kempton evening racing tips: Best bets for Wednesday, September 27

16:58 (Kempton) Dunstan

Dunstan encountered a progressive performer when runner-up over course and distance on his second outing, but can get off the mark with a similar effort.

High Point could improve now tackling one mile for the first time. He should be taken seriously after his debut third at Epsom.

Hebridean Nomad ran fourth in the aforementioned track and trip event first-time-out. Could do better with that outing under his belt.

 

18:00 (Kempton) Ghaihaban

Ghaihaban can make a winning debut for Andrew Balding, but Tayala might go close if building on her decent third over six furlongs at Goodwood in latest outing.

Deep Blue would hold strong claims if replicating first-time-out effort at Leicester in August.

Market support behind debutante Princess Alice could be of note.

 

19:00 (Kempton) Humanity

Humanity can thrive from an opening mark of 82 in the Unibet More Extra Place Races Handicap.

Beaten a length by Group-placed runner Chesspiece on his only juvenile start, he underwent wind surgery in the spring with his comeback was delayed until August, when he proved very disappointing as an odds-on favourite.

The son of Roaring Lion likely needed the run though as stepped up to 12 furlongs the next time, he made all for a cosy success in a novice heat which bodes well for this race.

 

20:30 (Kempton) Overstate

Overstate hasn't been seen on the level since winning comfortably over course and distance back in February and he looks like the one to beat back in this sphere.

Southwell runner-up Doublethetrouble technically races off a 3lbs lower mark here when taking into account Morgan Cole's valuable 6lbs claim, while the unexposed Berkshire Sundance should have further progress within him over trips of this nature.

Previous course and distance scorer Wannabe Brave was third behind Doublethetrouble at Southwell and should be thereabouts once more.
