16:50 (Kempton) Jayyash

Jayyash is the choice in the first division of the Unibet More Boosts In More Races Maiden Stakes.

A €420,000 breeze-up buy, he found subsequent Group Two winner Ghostwriter a tough test on debut and the Gosdens then gave him plenty of time before returning him to action last month.

An odds-on favourite at Southwell, he had to give best to Federal Envoy by a neck but the run should have brought him along nicely, with this move up to a mile expected to suit.

17:25 (Kempton) Screaming Eagle

Screaming Eagle can take the second division after making huge strides between his first two runs.

After beating just one horse home on his initial run at Sandown back in September, Screaming Eagle went on to finish a short-head second over seven furlongs at the Sunbury venue in October.

Andrew Balding moves him up to a mile here, which looks a wise move given Screaming Eagle’s pedigree suggests he will stay further than that in time.

18:00 (Kempton) Winter Snowfall

Godolphin hold the key to the Unibet Zero% Mission Fillies’ Novice Stakes but Winter Snowfall is the pick of William Buick and the hint should be taken.

Juneberry and Sahara Snow also sport the royal blue silks and all have beautiful pedigrees, with Winter Snowfall’s dam a Listed winner in Dubai and Group Three placed in Britain.

As a daughter of Galileo, this one-mile-three-furlong trip looks a decent starting point.

18:30 (Kempton) Rogue Encore

Rogue Encore makes his debut for Peter Chapple-Hyam in the Additional Maiden Stakes after two placed runs for Tom Clover.

He cost 145,000 guineas at the breeze-ups last April but did not make his racecourse bow until Kempton in February, where he finished a length-and-a-quarter second to Musical Dancer before then finding Inisherin three and a half lengths too good at Newcastle.

The winner is rated as a Classic prospect by his connections and while Rogue Encore is also entered in the 2000 Guineas, he is double the price of Inisherin.

Nevertheless, the Kodiac colt looks more than capable of winning a race like this.
