(Please be aware selections could become non-runners after article's first publication)

12.20 (Hereford) Adjuvant

Harry Cobden's mount Adjuvant showed progressive form on the Flat this year, but could only finish fourth on hurdling debut last month.

So is worth giving another chance with that experience behind him in the Bet & Watch At Planetsportbet.Com Maiden Hurdle.

Fiercely Proud is a dual jumpers Flat winner who looks to be a likely contender on first hurdle outing.

Court In The Act (3) won a jumpers Flat race by 11 lenghts debuting for this yard and rates an exciting prospect.

12.55 (Hereford) Mactavish

Mactavish got off the mark with hurdles delivering a success over course and distance in latest.Has a strong chance of following up in the Racing Specials Every Day At Planetsportbet Novices' Handicap Hurdle

State Legend won on the flat this year and was narrowly denied when beaten a head revisiting hurdles recently. May go well.

Bertie Wooster returned from a break finishing third and could be fitter for the outing and shouldn't be dismissed.

13:30 (Hereford) Jigginstown King

Jigginstown King won his past three starts over fences including a victory as favourite last month.Hard to rule out in current form in this four horse race.

Abuffalosoldier could only finish fifth delivering initial chase outing but may have needed the experience and could improve.

Tedwin Hills placed in his first two chase attempts before recording a 10 length success in latest, and there is certainly more to come.

Finally Pedley Wood is a chasing newcomer who is best watched.

14:05 (Hereford) Mistral Milly (e/w)

Thirteen runners line up to tackle this testing two-and-a-half-mile trip, and if the bookies have things right, then for a dozen of them their biggest challenge will be keeping in touch with odds-on favourite Aston Martini.

After Nicky Henderson’s four-year-old made a winning start to land a seven-runner bumper at Southwell back in June, she teams up again with Nico De Boinville here and is expected to be equally impressive on her hurdling debut.

Her most likely threat is likely to come from the Charlie Longsdon-trained Realisation, who also won her bumper debut race just over a year ago, although she was less eye-catching on her first effort over hurdles, finishing a distant fourth of nine at Stratford 19 days ago.

A first-time tongue strap could prove beneficial here, as indeed could the booking of in-form jockey and Planet Sport Bet racing ambassador Harry Cobden, who enjoyed three impressive winners among several other decent outings at Cheltenham’s November meeting at the weekend.

Nine of the remaining eleven runners are available at 14/1 or greater at the time of writing, so a more realistic each-way option could turn out to be Mistral Milly, who recently left Alan King’s yard to come under the wing of Emma Lavelle.

This four-year-old has shown some promise when three-lengths fourth on her bumper debut at Ascot in February, but was quite simply not at the races when last seen two months later at Fakenham.

A seven-month break and a change of scenery might well have done this filly good, and she has joined a yard that has been producing horses in top shape recently, landing three winners and seven runner-up near misses (plus two-thirds) from their last 19 runners.

Mistral Milly’s reins will be in the dependable hands of Tom Bellamy, who is also in a rich vein of form, steering three of his last eight completed rides into the winner’s enclosure (two of them for Lavelle), with a couple of close-up runner-up spots to boot.

14:40 (Hereford) Aldsworth

Aldsworth was well backed on his first outing for Robbie Llewellyn and was still in front and going well when coming a cropper at the second-last.

The five-year-old had hinted at ability when with the aforementioned King and compensation hopefully awaits in the Bet £10 Get £10 At Planetsportbet Handicap Hurdle.

Norton Hill placed in four of six hurdle starts including when second last time, so may prove competitive.

Bright Sunbird returned to winning ways with a success and is still fairly weighted.

Sammylou improved to finish third last month and can build on that effort.

15:15 (Hereford) Family Pot (Noah's Light e/w)

Another intriguing handicap sees a dozen runners line up for the competitive Get Emma’s Offers at PlanetSportBet Handicap Chase that the bookies have pegged as a three-horse race between the market principals.

Benny Silver just about heads the early betting and could well be the one to beat if he can transfer his recent hurdling form (two runner-up spots in August and October) into his chasing debut, while the lightly-raced Ballinoulart will also be looking to build on a runner-up spot around this course four weeks ago.

However, no runner is more familiar with this venue than the Sheila Lewis-trained Family Pot, who takes on the Hereford fences for the sixth time in his nine outings over the last year.

This grey eight-year-old has made the first three in all six outings, including quickfire back-to-back victories in similar conditions in February, the first of which was over this very trip.

Third here on season debut, his second run just nine days later was probably too quick a turnaround, while the first-time booking of Harry Cobden looks like a significantly positive move after his successes at Cheltenham over the weekend.

Planet Sport Bet: Bet £20+ cash on any runner in the race and if Family Pot wins the race, get a £5 Free Bet!

15:45 (Hereford) Dante Inferno (e/w)

The final race on Hereford’s Planet Sport Bet-sponsored card sees 15 largely untried four- and five-year-olds contest what promises to be a lively two-mile bumper..

Planet Sport Bet’s racing ambassador Harry Cobden has been booked for some strongly-fancied runners here, and the last of his four rides is no exception, with Rue St Denis expected to perform well for Paul Nicholls on his career debut.

Half of the field are making their bow on the horse racing circuit, but of those with a run or two under their belts, the Georgina Nicholls-trained Dante’s Inferno catches the eye after an encouraging debut at Ludlow six weeks ago.

After looking beaten approaching the furlong pole, he rallied in game fashion to lead briefly before being edged out on the nod by Bobby’s Fortune, with the front two comfortably clear of their five other rivals.

The manner in which this four-year-old bodes well for the extra half-furlong being asked here, while the better going should suit his turn of pace even more.

To complete the Nicholls’ family outing, daughter Olivia is retained to take the ride, and although sparingly booked, her eight wins from just 26 rides since March this year suggest that she could well be much busier as this season progresses.

Her seven-pound allowance will only enhance their chances further, and at double-digit odds and with four places available in certain quarters, they appears to have a decent chance of at least making the frame here.
