14:00 (Haydock) Barney's Angel

Barney's Angel ran on strongly to score over at Windsor towards the beginning of the month. Joe Leavy negates the rise in weights and can win again.

Mistress Lights improved with a fourth at Chepstow wearing first-time cheekpieces. Interesting now handicapping under a young apprentice.

Kells and Western Stars can't be discounted.

 

15:45 (Haydock) Hedge Fund

Dropping back to five furlongs actually looked to bring about some improvement from Hedge Fund who followed up his Wolverhampton handicap debut success with a commanding win at Ffos Las.

The 8lbs rise in weights will demand more, however,  he looks progressive and could prove equal to the task.

Due For Luck surrendered his unbeaten record going down by a head on nursery debut tackling 5f at Chester and holds strong claims up 2lbs.

 

16:20 (Haydock) Circuit Breaker

This stiffer stamina test saw Circuit Breaker improve landing a 2m handicap at Kempton.

The Ralph Beckett trained gelding drops back to one and three quarter miles however with testing conditions forecast he can make good use of his extra stamina and follow up that recent decisive success.

MIller Spirit stayed on tackling soft ground to score at Sandown and with further improvement anticipated stepping up in trip he may give a bold sight under a 6lbs penalty.

Urban Outlook and Flower Of Dubai will both be in the mix.

 

17:25 (Haydock) Pearl Eye

Pearl Eye encountered the seasonal hat-trick chasing Bear On The Loose when runner-up at Chester and probably wasn't best suited by the way the race panned out.

But progressive Darryll Holland trained three-year-old will find conditions no bother and another forward showing is anticipated.

Beccara Rose scored attempting a one mile maiden at Kempton and can remain competitive back among handicap company up 1lbs.

Two-time course winner Liamarty Dreams would be dangerous if allowed to dictate matters out in front, while Shahbaz holds each-way claims.
