Harry Cobden’s Planet Sport bet blog: No surprise if Silent Revolution puts in big performance at Musselburgh
Planet Sport Ambassador Harry Cobden is off to Scotland for the meeting at Musselburgh on Sunday, February 4, but what does he think about his rides?
13:20 (Musselburgh) Liari
Liari is a very nice type. He’s been brilliant all season having won well at Wincanton and Aintree.
He’s been schooling well since and Paul [Nicholls] has given him time to recover from a tough race at Aintree last time.
He’s a big type, but he’s not short of speed and he should go very close here.
13:50 (Musselburgh) Beau Balko
Beau Balko started his season off rather disappointingly at Ffos Las, but he’s not a bad horse.
Hopefully sending him up to Musselburgh will benefit him, and he’ll appreciate better ground. The focus for Sunday is getting his season back on track.
14:25 (Musselburgh) Panjari
Panjari is nice horse and was very talented on the Flat. I think Musselburgh will suit him as he’s a horse who travels very well and has plenty of speed.
15:00 (Musselburgh) Silent Revolution
Silent Revolution performed very well in the season before last, but things haven’t quite gone to plan since then.
However, he made a nice return at Newbury after a wind op and will hopefully come forward again.
He’s a smart gelding, who has definitely benefited from the surgery. I wouldn’t be surprised if he puts in a big performance and outruns his price.
15:35 (Musselburgh) Outlaw Peter
I’m hoping for more of the same from Outlaw Peter as he ran a blinder at Kempton on Boxing Day last time and it was a shame that he just got collared late on by Tom Lacey’s horse.
He’ll appreciate the better ground at Musselburgh and he’s one I’m really looking forward to getting back on.
16:05 (Musselburgh) Impact Du Bonheur
Impact Du Bonheur should go well and he’s one I’m looking forward to.
I thought he ran better than the result at Sandown suggested last time out as he was hampered at an important time.
Hopefully with a clean run and no issues, he goes there with a leading chance.
16:35 (Musselburgh) Wicked Thoughts
I close out the weekend with Wicked Thoughts. He didn’t disgrace himself first-time out at Ffos Las back in October and Paul has given him a nice break to recover.
He seems in good form at home, and I’d hope he’ll have improved since his first outing.
He’ll handle the Musselburgh sharp track, and he’ll appreciate the good ground. He’s a nice horse and I’m expecting a good run.
