Hamilton best bet: Fourth time lucky for improving Amancio

Hamilton racecourse
Races for two-year-olds can be something of a betting minefield, but can also open the door for some decent betting value, and our friends at Tipstrr have got together to identify their best bet.
14:20 Hamilton: EBF Restricted Maiden Stakes (6 furlongs)
With three market leaders rubbing shoulders at the top of the betting, any one of them could emerge as the clear favourite as we get closer to the off.
David O’Meara’s Esquire certainly possesses the pedigree to perform on his first start, and despite missing the break Nominal Event showed enough when finishing third on debut at Chester nine days ago to suggest there are better things to come.
The word on Tipstrr street, however, is that the Jack Channon-trained Amancio is ready to convert his steady progress so far this term into a maiden success in conditions that look set to suit.

Amancio is the most experienced of the seven runners here, albeit with just three well-spread outings under his belt, and the manner of his third-placed finish over a longer seven-furlong trip on soft going at Chester 10 days ago will have given his connections plenty of encouragement.
He should have no problems coping with this shorter trip and he is again likely to relish the cut in the ground, while the rebooking of Connor Beasley should provide some much-needed continuity after being ridden by different jockeys on each of those first three outings.
Suggested bet: Amancio each-way in the 14:20 at Hamilton
