14:15 (Epsom Downs) Ebts Guard

EBTS GUARD (3) brings strong placed form including a neck second last week among this company on soft ground at Newbury tackling the trip. Leading chance.

RATING (8) ran well at Sandown four weeks ago when 1.25L second attempting this grade and journey. Main danger.

MERCIAN WARRIOR (7) showed plenty of ability at the Curragh (Ireland) finishing 2.5L runner-up contesting a competitive auction sales race over 6f. Makes for appeal.

MR BALOO (9) scored by 1.5L a lower class 7f nursery at Salisbury. Holds claims.

14:50 (Epsom Downs) Golden West

GOLDEN WEST (1) made a winning debut six weeks ago running 2.25L clear in a 1m novice contest at Newcastle AW. That form line appears to be working out well and can be considered.

SAYEDATY SADATY (2) maintains a mixed profile to date but did show best at Kempton AW in latest finding success by 2.5L contesting a 1m novice event. Makes for appeal.

TRUE WISDOM (4) could go close having scored by 0.5L second up attempting a 1m maiden at Newmarket. VICTORIOUS STREET (3) is open to plenty of improvement on second racecourse appearance.

15:25 (Epsom Downs) Forceful Speed

FORCEFUL SPEED (3) maintains good winning form. Bids for a hat-trick following a narrow Pontefract 1 ¼m handicap win preceding a 1.75L success at Redcar among this company.

Leading contender representing a good jockey and trainer team.

Previous course and distance winner BUG BOY (7) rates the main danger after handling a similar track well scoring narrowly tackling this grade and a similar trip at Brighton in August. Respect.

GLENISTER (2) brings a consistent profile including a smart 2.25L second attempting a 1 ¾m Racing League handicap at Wolverhampton AW. In the mix. DUNDORY (5) was a good second in this race last year and could feature.

16:00 (Epsom Downs) Naxos

NAXOS (5) showed plenty of ability when 2.25L second at Wolverhampton AW contesting a Racing League handicap over 1 ⅛m. Serious player.

BURGLAR (6) filled the same position a month ago finishing 5L behind the winner tackling a 1 ¼m handicap at Newmarket. Respect.

BIZARRE LAW (7) ran well at Chester in June managing a solid third attempting this journey in a lower graded handicap. Can handle undulating tracks and rates an interesting chance.

AUSTRIAN THEORY (4) won a competitive higher level 1 ⅛m handicap here during June and could find this a good opportunity after mixed recent efforts. Shortlist.

16:35 (Epsom Downs) Strong Impact

STRONG IMPACT (6) looks a promising filly having recorded three runner-up efforts from four career starts including a 3.5L defeat over this distance in a Sandown handicap two weeks ago. Top chance.

SOIGNEUX BELL (1) made a winning debut in May when successful on soft ground at Angers (France) attempting a 1 ⅜m maiden. New trainer now and rates highly.

LETSBEFRANK (3) profiles well being a three-year-old by Frankel. Interesting debutante. MARTIN SPIRIT (2) looks next best.

17:10 (Epsom Downs) Fly Zone

FLY ZONE (5) handled a similar undulating track two outings ago when a decent third in a 1m maiden at Brighton. Progressed at Wolverhampton AW since finishing 1.75L second among novice company. Leading player.

OVERNIGHT OATS (6) did well here two weeks back running a strong 0.5L second attempting the journey in a handicap. Makes for plenty of appeal.

HI CLARE (7) showed ability at this venue when 0.5L second tackling a track and trip handicap. May go close. Last start course and distance winner SHOT OF LOVE (8) is not to be dismissed.

17:45 (Epsom Downs) Man Of Eden

MAN OF EDEN (5) ran with credit at Ascot finishing a good fifth tackling a higher graded 1m handicap. This is easier and rates a big chance to win the final race at Epsom of 2023.

FARASI LANE (1) showed plenty of ability at Wolverhampton AW when 1.25L second contesting 1 ⅛m in a Racing League handicap. Include.

MARLAY PARK (3) scored by 0.5L a course and distance handicap in this grade beating SECRET STRENGTH (8). The former is a four-timer winner here and warrants respect while the latter cannot be discounted on that form.
