There's plenty to like about Seb Spencer's capable mare Little Muddy, and she looks well-equipped to make her presence felt in this wide-open 16-runner handicap.
This seven-year-old's maiden win came over the minimum trip here two years ago, and her seven subsequent visits to the Doncaster track have yielded a further five frame finishes, including a narrow win in heavy going last month.
She has since picked up another runner-up spot here, and then confirmed her consistent form with a comfortable win in a five-runner affair at Ayr 12 days ago.
Dale Swift resumes control of the reins, and between them they look capable of defying a five-pound raise to make a concerted challenge to finish among the prize money.
