BLUE FIN (1) returned after a seven month absence with a good second tackling a longer trip at this course. Competitive over a shorter distance.
OUR FOLLET (3) was well-beaten on seasonal reappearance attempting a Compiegne (FR) hurdle.
FIVE DOLLAR FINE (7) has produced three solid efforts since a break. Fifth in a fourteen runner Catterick contest last time. Place. FIA FUINIDH (4) could progress from reappearance fourth.

ELOI DU PUY (4) bids for a hat-trick. Improving with each run. Scored by 0.8L at Kelso in latest. Apprentice claim offers some relief on rise in weights.
EASTER JUNCTION (2) finished fourth past two outings. Shaped better than the bare result when beaten 2.25L at Catterick.
BUSHMILL BOY (6) was a good third at this track. Worth considering on that form. Third at Hexham on reappearance.

MULBERRY HILL (5) improved from a return third to land an open handicap chase by 5.5L at Kempton Park. Leading chance off current weight.
UNIVERSAL FOLLY (4) started the new campaign with a novice success at Hexham and finished runner-up behind a subsequent Graded placed performer at Aintree. Switches to open company.
CHRISTOPHER WOOD (1) makes seasonal reappearance after an eight-month break. Consider for a placing carrying top weight. RED HAPPY (8) could sneak into the frame bidding for a hat-trick.
14:10 (Carlisle) Howlingmadmurdock
HOWLINGMADMURDOCK (2) returned after an eight-month absence with a midfield finish against tougher opposition at Haydock Park. Will have come forward for the run and can benefit from a useful jockey claim.
RAMO (4) started the new season with a 3.5L success at Ludlow in an apprentice handicap hurdle. Disappointing raised in grade subsequently. Tackles longer trip. PRAIRIE DANCER (1) might place from top weight.
