Gold Cup Bailly has not been seen for over a year. Brings some top-class chasing form and could be interesting on return. Conditional claim assists.

The Big Jetaway reverts to hurdles. Third among novice hurdle company last June. Interesting.

Netywell is capable of overcoming top weight. Steps up in standard seeking fourth straight success after scoring by 5.5L at Newcastle. Bold bid anticipated.

Trac pursues a double. Last seen winning by 4.5L on heavy ground at Newcastle. Expected to encounter similar conditions.

Travail D’Orfevre finished runner-up past four outings. Not beaten far but would need to reverse form with main selection.

 

15:22 (Carlisle) Carrigeen Castle

Carrigeen Castle could prove competitive up in standard. Produced a wide margin 11L success at Wetherby when last seen and enjoys a stamina test. Top chance.

William Of York bids for a hat-trick. Returns to open company following a head success tackling a longer trip at this course. Enjoys these conditions.

Hello Judge scored by 12L at Newcastle last time. Might be suited by the race and cannot be dismissed.

 

15:57 (Carlisle) Heritier De Sivola

Heritier De Sivola could prove competitive on current mark. Seeks a fourth consecutive success and takes on tougher competition following a narrow success at Hexham.

Camp Belan will be firmly in the mix based on recent performances. One win and three placings previous four outings including an Ayr success among Class 5 company.

Whosmydaddy bids for a hat-trick. In excellent order and deserves to step up in class. Justified favouritism at Ayr last time.

 

16:32 (Carlisle) Omar Maretti

Omar Maretti broke through for an easy 35L success at Catterick prior to placing third among Class 2 company at Newbury. Bold bid anticipated.

Two For Gold brings mixed form. Good second contesting a similar event at Ascot when last seen. Firmly in the mix.

Elvis Mail started the new season with a win at Kelso finishing ahead of a subsequent winner. Tackled tougher competition since. May get closer this time.

 

17:05 (Carlisle) Helsgetaway

Helsgetaway improved from a debut fifth to finish runner-up at Newcastle. Continues to progress and can break through for a maiden win.

Gamesters Guy started career with a narrow success in a jumpers flat at Uttoxeter. Well-beaten third at Aintree subsequently. Probably facing easier competition.

Realco made a pleasing start to career when 1L third of four at Chepstow. Competitive.
