17:50 (Bangor) Valgrand

Smart jumpers flat race performer Valgrand had little difficulty opening his account attempting a maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter. Increased distance is in his favour and rates the one to beat.

Musselburgh maiden hurdle winner Speed Davis could only finish fourth when penalised at Hexham. Might be capable of better up in trip.

The point-to-point winning Touchwoodexpress was tailed off making hurdle debut. Earlier displayed promise in a jumpers flat race. Surely capable of better.

 

19:25 (Bangor) Boombawn

Talented hurdler Boombawn won more easily than the winning margin suggests on chasing debut at Warwick. Up in trip and makes for strong appeal if racing (also declared Monday).

Hometown Boy has not been since falling at Newbury in February. Clearly needs to improve jumping. This G3-winning hurdler will come good at some point.

First Street was beaten by the main selection in latest. Previously G1-placed when hurdling and is lurking on a good mark.

 

19:55 (Bangor) Finest View

Finest View took just two starts to open her account on return to Alan King and still looks very nicely treated. Bold showing anticipated. Donald McCain has three entries here.

Recent Ludlow winner Collingham looks the stable number one. Could still prove competitive from new mark.

Tedley came unstuck among G3 company at Sandown in March. Competitive from this rating otherwise.
