(Please be aware selections could become non-runners after article's first publication)
13:50 (Ascot) Emaraaty Ana
Previous G1 winner EMARAATY ANA (2) tends to come good around this time of year and could put his head back in front following a sound third in the Listed Garrowby Stakes (6f) at York.
KORKER (3) was entitled to land a 5f conditions event on soft ground at Beverley last-time-out and must be respected back up in grade.
NYMPHADORA (4) went down narrowly in the G3 World Trophy Stakes at Newbury and may hold strong claims if the rain arrives. RAGE OF BAMBY (7) heads the remainder.
14:25 (Ascot) Al Aasy
Jim Crowley had the choice between AL AASY (2) and ISRAR (1) and it looks significant he selected to ride the former.
This previous course and distance winner may return to winning ways following a fine second in the 1 ½m G3 Kilternan Stakes at Leopardstown while the latter has always threatened to produce a high-class performance and holds major claims on form shown when landing the G2 Princess Of Wales Stakes at Newmarket (July) during the summer.
AL QAREEM (3) returned from a break to take a Listed contest at Chester and cannot be ignored alongside POSTILEO (8).
15:00 (Ascot) Commanche Falls
The likeable COMMANCHE FALLS (1) continues to run well this season. Gained a third success from his past four outings in the Listed Garrowby Stakes over 6f at York last time. Connor Beasley knows the six-year-old and with conditions no problem together they can gain another well-deserved victory.
ANNAF (4) produced a fine performance defying top-weight in the Portland handicap over 5 ½f at Doncaster last-time-out. Commands respect back among Pattern company.
Stablemate JUAN LES PINS (5) was a good second to the main selection in the aforementioned York event and cannot be discounted. DARK TROOPER (7) looks tough to ignore going up in grade seeking fifth-straight win.
15:35 (Ascot) Fresh
FRESH (8) did better than recent form figures suggest shaping nicely when sixth tackling 6f at the Curragh. This course and distance specialist receives a handy draw in stall eighteen and looks the one to beat racing off 3lbs lower than his last winning mark.
Progression has been nothing short of extraordinary from QUINAULT (5) this season and he cannot be ignored following a hard-fought all-the-way victory over POPMASTER (1) here (7f) last month.
The latter has since won a Listed contest on soft ground at Newbury and carries a 7lbs penalty. BARADAR (3) may go close having followed up a track and trip win with a fine success at Doncaster. Others to note are BIGGLES (2) and ATRIUM (10).
16:10 (Ascot) Nigiri
The progressive NIGIRI (8) produced a clear career best when second to a runaway leader in the G3 Sceptre Stakes over 7f at Doncaster last month.
Ralph Beckett continues to produce winners of late and with further progress entirely plausible she can return to winning ways. BREEGE (6) must enter calculations after a solid fourth-placed finish in the Listed Fortune Stakes (1m) at Sandown.
QUEEN AMINATU (5) needs to be considered after finishing fifth behind the main selection in the aforementioned G3 at Doncaster. CELL SA BEELA (7) makes for each-way appeal.
16:45 (Ascot) Intrinsic Bond
INTRINSIC BOND (1) may bounce back from a disappointing run at York having produced a solid third over 5 ½f at Doncaster prior.
Won over course and distance on reappearance this season and could have every chance despite carrying top weight.
First-time cheekpieces and a drop in journey looks interesting for JUMBEAU (11) while MOUNTAIN PEAK (5) cannot be left out of the equation following a good track and trip second last-time-out.
BEDFORD FLYER (9) finished seventh in that contest but would be of interest on his runner-up effort at Doncaster.
