MICKEYS TRAIL (4) is a 11-start maiden who finished second over 5½f at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino (Dirt) last time out after being in the firing line on the bend. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to figure in the finish. BEETHOVEN J (5) turned in a solid run on debut last start, beaten 2.5 lengths into third at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino (Dirt) over 5½f. Has plenty of upside so he will prove tough to beat. C JACK (7) is a three-year-old gelding on debut by Chipshot from Devons Cat who has been an outstanding producer including winners at black type level. Comes out of the the strong juvenile stable of Joel H Marr. Ready to run well despite a tricky gate. SINAI (2) returns after seven months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fourth over 1m1/2f in Listed grade at Sunland Park (Dirt). Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
