MANHATTAN JEWEL (4) showed good early speed and led into the straight before fading to finish sixth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 7f at Bunbury. Sure to take running down. FLYING FOREVER (1) faced the starter for the first time and finished ninth last start at Northam over 6½f, beaten 7 lengths. Will be better for that run. Leading contender. DANDY'S GEM (7) finished 5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 6½f at Northam when when resuming from a lay-off. Steps up in distance. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Should measure up. HAUNTED ANGEL (8) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was always well out of her ground over 7f at Bunbury, beaten 3.5 lengths into eighth. This is a nice drop in grade so she is a major player.
