ANCIENT WISDOM (2) readily brushed aside a subsequent Lingfield Derby Trial winner in the G3 Autumn Stakes before going on to land the G1 Futurity Trophy at Doncaster delivering final outing last season. This high-class middle-distance three-year-old colt trained by Charlie Appleby can put himself firmly in the Epsom Derby picture with a reappearance success. The G2 Royal Lodge Stakes runner-up AL MUSMAK (1) bypassed the 2000 Guineas in favour of this and must be respected now going up in distance. Impressively winning a Newbury maiden ECONOMICS (5) is very much an unknown quantity against this field. With a Newmarket (1m2f) Listed win CAVIAR HEIGHTS (4) warrants consideration at this level.
