SPEARFISH (10) is still a maiden after nine starts. Could only manage to finish ninth last time out over 7f at Geraldton following a minor placing at Albany over 6f32yards the run prior. This looks her chance to break through. DON'T TELL NAN (11) improved last time out, finishing 1.5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 5f207yards at Narrogin. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. DIVINE CURRENCY (4) used the low draw last time and bounced straight to the lead, turning in front before fading to finish sixth over 7f at Pinjarra. Definite winning hope. PATRIONIC STAR (9) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Pinjarra, beaten 2.5 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
