Trained on the track and should prove too sharp for these. I AM CONVINCING (2) was a new acquisition for the Scott Singleton stable when came out of a strong race to finish third over 5¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle) on October 30. Claim helps again and watch for him late. POWER TO DECEIVE (3) big drifter in betting when resumed with a plugging third over 6f87yards at Muswellbrook on October 23. Can sneak into the minor money. ARE YOU JOKING (5) is a well-bred Shalaa gelding who made an encouraging debut for the Messara/Gavranich yard when third at this track over 5f on October 27. Morgan keeps the ride and will need luck from the awkward draw.
