CAPTAIN CASEY (9) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Scottsville, beaten 4.5 lengths into seventh. Has the talent to find the winners' list. ANCIENT WORLD (6) improved last time out, finishing 1.2 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1m1 3/4f at Scottsville. Looks well placed so expect another big run. WINTER GAMES (1) is back from a lay-off of nine weeks. Turned in a fair effort at this track over 6f at his only run last prep, finishing ninth and beaten 2.5 lengths. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. One of the main contenders. PASCALI (7) improved sharply last time out to score by 3.5 lengths over 1m at this track six weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
