SECOND GUESS (6) finished tenth over 1m2 1/2f at Ballarat Synthetic at his most recent appearance on August 2. Rates highly and should take some beating. TEXAS DAN (7) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when 12th, beaten 14 lengths, over 6½f at Cranbourne. Finds the right race this time and can take this out. FIRST BENDER (9) was well fancied last time out but disappointed in finishing ninth over 6½f at Jerilderie, beaten 7 lengths. Expected to feature in the finish this time. NASRIN (10) is back after a break of 11 weeks. At the last run before the layoff she finished 12th over 7f at Cranbourne. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
