IRRESISTIBLE SIR (5) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 2.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 6½f at Coleraine. The engagement of Joe Bowditch is a positive move. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. TARZI CALLING (2) started at 15/8 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 2 lengths at Bairnsdale over 6f after being in contention on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. PALENTINE'S DAY (6) was in the firing line on the corner and finished second last time over 5f190yards at Manangatang, beaten a neck. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. COBBLESTONE WAY (11) comes here off a break of ten months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5f at Mornington. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. Has switched to the Amy & Ash Yargi yard. Worth plenty of thought.
