SON CARLOS (3) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when fresh from a lay-off last time out, finishing second and beaten only 0.1 lengths over 5f at this track (Dirt) after being in contention on the bend. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. ADIEU ACES (7) fought on well for second last start over 5f at this track (Dirt), making it three minor placings in a row. Record at this journey is impressive with two wins and three placings from six runs and is expected to be competitive. RISKTAKER (2) did a great job to score by half a length over this course and distance last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge.
