CLEOMENES (10) started at 2/1 last time but could only manage fifth, beaten 4 lengths, at this track over 7f. Luis Contreras who has scored on her two times retains the mount. Best form puts her right in this. LOIS LEN (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was always well out of her ground over 6f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. DELPHIA (12) improved sharply on her seventh two starts back at this track with a win over 7f at this track three weeks ago, getting home by 4.5 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. MOUNTAIN SOUND (7) got the prize two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when third over 1m1/4f at Fort Erie, beaten 6 lengths. Worth another chance.
